Ingrédients pour
  • 500g Lean Ground Beef
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 100g Roquefort
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 Red Onion
  • 4 Hamburger Buns 



1. Combine ground chuck and salt in medium bowl. Shape into four 1 cm thick patties.

2. Set aside a little bit of the Roquefort to garnish each burger, then divide up the remaining cheese and place 1/4 of cheese in center of each patty, then fold meat over cheese, enclosing completely, like a stuffed meatball.

3. Shape meat into slightly thicker 2-3 cm thick patties, and sprinkle pepper on both sides.

4. Heat a tablespoon of oil in a frying pan, and cook onions until they are soft and caramelized. If you want crispy onions, deep fry them instead.

5. Add a little bit more oil to the pan and carefully place burgers in once the oil is hot.

6. Cook burgers to desired doneness, about 5 minutes per side for medium-rare.

7. Lightly toast each hamburger bun, then assemble your burger, making sure to spoon some onions and sprinkle a bit of additional Roquefort on top of each burger before serving.
